Meet the Founder

  • Hello, I'm Jordann.

My work began with trying to figure out how to alleviate my own suffering and transform my life for the better. Through my late teens and early twenties, I was searching to find my truth and my place in the world. I sought traditional therapies which helped to make sense of my experience cognitively, but it wasn’t until I found yoga and Ayurveda and began to integrate the teachings and practices into my life that I was able to reconnect with my body, released physically held trauma, and experience stillness (as opposed to chaos) within my mind. In the years after, I have become incredibly passionate about holistic health and well-being.

As I continue to study the ancient sciences of Ayurveda and yoga, as well as body-focused psychotherapy I’ve become increasingly interested in the integration of Eastern and Western healing modalities. Otherwise, living the healing principles of classical Āyurveda in my own life, along with having a daily yoga and meditation practice has afforded me the capacity to be grounded as I work.

When I’m serving others I’m fully present and my mission is really clear: to give people tools to live healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives so that the world is a better, kinder, and more compassionate place. I deeply value creativity and being in nature and find myself always wanting to try new things, learn, and create! I love to spend my days making delicious dishes with whole foods, hiking, biking, foraging, dancing, traveling, reading, writing, painting, and spending quality time with loved ones. Living in the Kootenays and being surrounded by an abundance of nature has taught me to slow down, be patient, work smarter, not harder, and live each moment breath by breath.
